These little things are exactly what I want a frozen snack to be: easy, crispy, hot, and ready to be dipped into something completely unreasonable. They’re perfect for an easy appetizer, after-work snack, game-day food, or those evenings when dinner has officially become “I found something in the freezer.” And can we discuss my little stainless steel fryer for a minute? This thing is snack-sized, which is exactly why I like it. I don’t need to fill a cauldron with oil because I wanted seven tots and made a personal decision. It has its own little frying basket, it’s stainless steel, and it’s just the right size for small batches of tots, fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and whatever else needs a brief but meaningful encounter with hot oil. It also comes with a fine-mesh strainer, and the listing says the 2-liter stainless-steel pot can be used for frying, sautéing and even storing cooking oil.
