@sunnyinkyoto_32: Fushimi Inari = Thousand Torii gates, right? ⛩️ …but today was NOT a normal day. Feb 1st is a big deal for locals because it’s Hatsu-uma. One of the most important days at Fushimi Inari. People come to pray for business success and family safety, so the whole shrine feels extra lively and full of energy. Hatsu-uma is linked to the story that Inari Okami was first enshrined here back in 711. Today you can also get Shirushi no Sugi (a lucky cedar charm). I got the mini version. And yes, I also pulled an omikuji… mine wasn’t great 😭 So I tied it up and wished for a luck upgrade. If you ever see that blue stall in Kyoto, PLEASE try the baby castella. Ended the day with inarizushi (sushi rice wrapped in sweet seasoned tofu). Hope this video gives you a little context for your next visit to Fushimi Inari more special😊⛩️ #fushimiinarishrine #Kyoto #Kyototravel #japaneseculture #fyp
