I wear 4 layers in the house during winter, I'd need 8 layers for camping!

In terms of micron you’d be better off with Merino wool socks unless it’s hay alpaca wool 😁

I don’t use fleece, only layers of wool and down. I have knitted my own pair of wool pants that I can only use if it’s colder than -10C 😅

do you carry some sort of power bank, and what's in the first aid kit?

I've got a hot tent and a wood stove. That's my kit for winter. It's actually lighter than carrying around a huge winter sleep system.

A balaclava is cozy to sleep in as it covers your hole head and neck😀👍
