The Night We Met by Lord Huron is one of the most emotional indie songs of the last decade. Released in 2015 as part of the album Strange Trails, the song found worldwide success after being featured in 13 Reasons Why. Since then, it has become a late-night anthem for millions, earning billions of streams and becoming one of the band’s most recognizable songs. Built around themes of heartbreak, regret, and longing, the lyrics tell the story of someone wishing they could go back to the night they first met the person they loved — just to avoid the pain that came after. Lines like “I had all and then most of you, some and now none of you” perfectly capture the slow fading of a relationship and the emptiness left behind. With its soft acoustic guitar, haunting vocals, and cinematic atmosphere, the song feels like a memory you can’t escape — emotional, nostalgic, and unforgettable. 🎵 Song: The Night We Met 🎤 Artist: Lord Huron #lordhuron #thenightwemet #indiemusic #13reasonswhy #musicmemories
