Spring preload is not setup right or top hat bolts mount are loose

sounds like spring is becoming uncompressed and then compressed really fast causing it to clunk. tighten the collar and it should go away. make sure it’s the same on all sides or it’ll ride uneven

Honestly if they weren’t lubed right either it could be this I forgot to luv mine and it sounded like this for like a week or so

Look at your Coilover there’s three spots to loosen them jack ot up loosen the bottom one in the top then tighten the top one 1 rotation past snug aka no movevment ageist from there. Ps I have no idea if this is correct just what I would do🤷‍♂️

Just go over it all make sure nothing is loose or has free play. Check shock mounts if it’s spring separate from shock make sure the spring is in the right spot and not cockeyed or sum. If it’s spring on shock adjust preload. YouTube is your friend

Just did coilovers on my mazda 3 hatchback and it sounds the same but the springs are separate fron the strut.
