Man, I was part of the generation where my mom came to the bus stop to make sure that my bully and I had a fist fight to end issues. Nowadays, you’re looking at some very very serious charges.

I think that officer is on burnout with his job. The lack of empathy, respect and tolerance for the alleged victim. Is a problem. I don’t care what your personal opinion is while on the job. You still have a job to do, appropriately. This coming from a family of officers, medical professionals and other emergency professionals. There’s a time you have to say enough. If that means taking a break or retiring. I myself had to step away from medical. I found myself losing patience and losing the “why” of why I went into the field to begin with.
