Chicken Alu curry Ingredients * ½ chicken, cut into pieces * 2–3 potatoes, cubed * 1 cup oil * 5 tbsp yogurt * ½ cup dried onions * 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste * 1 tbsp black pepper powder * 1 tbsp red chilli powder * ½ tbsp turmeric powder * 1 tbsp cumin powder * Salt to taste * 2 onions, sliced * 1 glass warm water * Green long chillies * ¼ cup cooking cream Method 1. Heat oil and fry chicken with cubed potatoes until lightly golden. Remove and set aside. 2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, dried onions, ginger-garlic paste, black pepper, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin, and salt. Add chicken and potatoes, then marinate for 30 minutes. 3. Remove half the oil from the pan and fry sliced onions until golden. 4. Add the marinated chicken and potatoes, then sauté well. 5. Pour in warm water, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes. 6.
