Denmark here, that's what people in the USA and especially Republicans don't understand about free healthcare, yes we pay more in taxes but they pay expensive insurances that insurance companies can cancel in the middle of, for example, a cancer cure and you lose that insurance if you lose your job we don't do that in the EU

I think it is sad and i am angry when i see an mother cry becouse she dont have to pay the shirt of here to get care for her child. There is not an ekshuse fore american poiticans fore not provide better care fore its citicents. You pay taxes in america to. I hope that one day americans stop to belive we are communist fore use tax money one ore children, sick an elderly. Its not 100% perfect but its way better than the US and many other countries. But everybody must understand that we have to fight everyday to have this. Its not fore free. Everybody has to give there share. Its cold solidaritet.

I broke my ankle exactly ten years ago (icy street in Oslo). a random man drove me to the ER snd I was taken in and treated immediately bc of the pain. when I left I paid for the pain meds they gave me, a couple hundred kroner. so it's pretty ok for adults too. a week later I had surgery, also free
