It’s wild. I’ve learned level and industry impacts this a lot - but in general folks send what some hustler told them to write and submit, knowing in their head but not displaying nor demonstrating that they ARE a fit. The system is broken - it’s designed by the companies who own the boards and ATS and resume services and -all the other bad guys- to keep roles open long. But you’re the bad guy. (Recruiters and sourcers are the only members of HR who aren’t malignant malevolence)
