From a washing standpoint do you feel like you have to use a gentle cycle or is it pretty durable? Is it necessary to use similar materials on the patches or can you mix textiles?

I’m a lifelong seamstress and this trend is AWSOME! I love to see young people being creative. My only little critique is that there are multiple seams and types of fabrics and can be itchy on the inside if not lined. This also creates bulk that may not always be a good thing so I don’t have an answer for that 😂. Keep using your creativity 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

If you get a hoodie the size you like, could you just sew the patches right onto the actual hoodie, and if so how exactly would one do this? Thank you

You can also use a thin blanket or something like that? But I asume you need to add some other fabric to it so it has the same thickness throughout?

If I’m using a zigzag stitch (I don’t have a serger), would you do a straight line stitch first then zigzag over the ends?
