Almost got an article15 for damage to government property. I got sunburnt and bled through my Class Bs, even though I had applied sunscreen religiously, but I’m just super pale and burn easily.

my drills made me keep my sunscreen with me at all times as an inspectible item. it exploded in my pocket during the crawl and mixed with the sand and PC in my pocket ruing that PC

My dad got sunburned back when he was in the army. He got stuck with flipping rocks over to make sure they dont get “sunburned” for the next 3 days cause he damaged gov property aka his head🤣

Okay fr tho… I did get a counseling for getting sunburnt. Mind you I need prescription sunscreen, and apply it religiously. (I’m Irish with every frail skin I can’t help it) 😭🥀

Just tell them you had on sunscreen but you didn’t know it wasn’t waterproof. It came off while sweating in the field

I got sunburnt in BCT because I was on antibiotics. I went through almost a bottle of sunscreen every 2 days and still got borderline 2nd degree sunburns on my face. I got pulled into the COs office and he was screaming at me and threatening me with an article 15 and possibly worse until a couple of my DS came in and said I was using sunscreen. They had to take me to the hospital and get some kind of prescription strength sunscreen and it finally started clearing up
