thank you this is all a lot of liberals are trying to preach. traditional roles are absolutely fine, not for everyone, but ALSO have your own backup plan, especially since even the best man in the world can get into an accident. literally this video should be seared into brains ❤

Girl you are right. My husband of 23 years left me 5 years ago. At the time my daughter was 22 thank God and a college graduate. But it was hard. I also have 2 degrees and I had a career and my own bank account but it was still hard. My daughter ended up getting pregnant shortly after (a surprise since she was on birth control) so I was supporting the house, my daughter, and granddaughter. My husband took the house in the divorce and if I didn’t give it up he would be taken my retirement. Thank God I moved on and was ok. I moved to NJ when I got together with my husband and my daughter moved in with her daughter’s father. But moral of the story is always have a back up plan.

Your speaking so much truth, might be a trauma respond but I can’t mentally let myself depend on his income only. Not only does divorce happen but so does health issues, death and other unplanned things 💔

Young women…. LISTEN TO HER. I got lucky that my ex was in the military when he cheated, because the law doesn’t care if he cheats, only because there was a chance they’d discipline him was he reasonable in the divorce. A year later the legal bills started… Make sure YOU ARE COVERED.
