@artem_pankovich: Oil Pressure Failure on Mazda 2.2 Skyactiv. • In this video, we work on a Mazda 6 equipped with the 2.2 Skyactiv diesel engine, brought in with a serious complaint - the oil pressure warning light is coming on. This is one of the most dangerous issues for these engines, so diagnostics start with the most critical point - the oil pickup. • After removing the oil pan, we find that the oil pickup is completely clogged, with deposits that look more like plastic than typical oil sludge. Next, we move to another known weak point of this engine - the fuel injectors, which often play a key role in this type of failure. • The video shows the full access process: removing wiring, sensors, fuel supply and return lines, fuel rail removal, and injector extraction, including difficult cases using a puller and slide hammer. After removing the valve cover, we inspect the internal condition of the engine and find heavy carbon buildup caused by failed injector sealing washers, along with exhaust camshaft wear, another common issue on the 2.2 Skyactiv. • Following the inspection, it becomes clear that the engine requires further diagnosis and repair.
