I dont understand how people are confused. The only thing that was removed in the chamber is air. So earth's Gravity is still active in the air so there is a pulling force to the ground. Air is no longer present which means there is no RESISTANCE pushing against the feathers which means they both fall at the same time

hey people...AIR and GRAVITY are different things. you can remove air, and gravity will still be there. it's the AIR that slows the feather down

Acceleration equal to Force over mass, a=F/m.. Force is air which is zero in chamber, so that’s why acceleration for two items in this experiment drop exactly same instead of NO acceleration because of NO Force.

Thank you, this just visualizes my thoughts. I remember I was thinking in my grade school how scientist was able to define gravity's accelaration as 9.81 m per second squared whenever we solve for something. But it was still hard for me to imagine they would fall the exact same speed because maybe weight would still be a variable. This just visualizes what I cannot imagine haha
