@teaganjacobs.com: Why use a ruler when your sewing machine is one? I use this hemming technique when I want a clean double-folded hem without measuring, pinning or ironing. It’s the best hem that’s high reward and low effort, especially when I’m in a rush. Or when I can’t be bothered with a rolled hem foot. I sew a straight line half of what I want the hem to be. Then I use that stitch as a physical guide for where the fabric wants to fold.
