As tough as this year was, it was a huge learning experience that made Jay and I stronger and shaped me into the woman I am today. I’m now thankful for it This is an entire year of my life I can’t erase. All I can do is learn from it. No amount of apologies can take back what was done. I think we need more accountability about what this level of online bullying does to people especially when the bully/stalker can hide behind anonymity… I’ll never watch that person’s content because of that. Still hard to believe even after all these years. I’ll never understand why she went to the lengths she did to be so cruel and vindictive. Mental health struggles certainly don’t excuse repeated malicious action towards you as well as her “friends”. The whole situation was/is completely sickening and inexcusable. I’m so glad you’re able to share your story now even if you’ll never get those years back🤍

Don't ever blame yourself for trusting someone. Is so easy to make "friends" when you live alone and in a foreign country. You try to cling to every piece of familiarity you find (language/culture/same nationality etc.)

Kinda late to the party. But saying this regarding the person ( the comment section hinted who it is) is a pure example of “Pandora Box Effect” of humanity. What I mean is we as humans have a restraining side but we have the curiosity side to dive into things that are “disclosed”, which explains the phrase “curiosity kills the cat”. If I were “that person” shoes, the obvious intent for what they did is like “a child who impatient and wanted to open the present when it’s not Christmas Day yet” to put it vaguely. An amount of scrolling could provide hints, but their obvious inability to control themselves and sharing other business like “an Asian mother-in-law showing a big ass ring to her friends saying it was bought by the son-in-law”, kinda make them look lonely like to drag someone business for XYZ reasons. Although, they apologize, if the situation was done during a different time their 🫏 would be dead like a piñata, as a wise friend once told me. Obsession is man downfall, after all. We live in the time of social media where everyday anyone could be on the witch hunt for big or small reasons, so it should be noted that with grace required reflection to move on. ( Sorry for the metaphorical or real life examples, it just make sense to use real world reference to contextualize the atmosphere to say the least).
