i need the duck community help. I had a male and female duck. thats it no geese, chickens etc. the male passed away over the weekend. free range the female refuses to leave the front porch which is ok she can be wherever she wants but refuses to eat she is lonely. what do I do. I live in nebraska. im afraid to just get her a mate adult bcz they just disappear. she was a duckling raised here. is it too late in the season to order a few ducklings will she except them. I want her to be happy and not lonely
