Houses here are $2-3M minimum 🥴 Here's the math for buying: 💰$400-600K down payment 💰 $10-15K+ monthly mortgage 💰 Property taxes, insurance, repairs 💰 All my capital locked in ONE asset Or... I rent the same house for $4-5K/month with zero maintenance costs. And the $400K I didn't spend on a down payment, I invest it across rentals, businesses, stocks, and private loans! While my neighbors are house-rich but cash-poor, I'm generating passive income that pays for my rent AND builds wealth. This goes against everything we're taught about the "American Dream”…. but in high-cost markets, renting can be a wealth-building strategy, not a wealth-draining one.
