Common problem for new, small brands. Merchandisers in the short term could be a bridge in your most important stores but expensive in the long term. Creating in-store pull is where the real leverage is - it’s about velocity per store per week. Don’t underestimate in- store demos, especially for emerging brands in food categories where taste is everything! Store managers will notice!

Different take than a merchandiser - because while it can be helpful, it can also be expensive in terms of T&E in remote locations. How is your trade marketing? If you’re in the flyer at least once a month + running plano only promotions + point promos, it generally helps them keep inventory. It increases your avg units sold per store per month, and managers see what’s announced in advance (generally). If they know you’ll be in the flyer often and the rotations are good, they’re more likely to keep stock on hand.

If the demand is slow the merchandiser usually fulfills on demand so they will prioritize items that are selling faster… imo but idk 🤷🏻♀️
