I guess that’s white privilege right there 😒 I love history and it should be for everyone no matter their colour or background. And of course, a white person would not receive the same treatment if they were interested in non European culture. Kind of pisses me off …

I’m white, and I wish black people would take up more of the spaces that are predominantly white, because it would be good for everyone! No one should feel, or be, boxed in by their skin colour, ethnicity, culture, religion; all of these things should give us freedom to be ourselves. I’m sorry you don’t feel you belong, if it was up to me, no one would ever have to feel, or be subjected to, that. You absolutely do belong wherever you want to be, other people just need to get used to it if they have certain feelings about it. Be who you are, be proud of who you are, and scr3w anyone who tries to make you feel any other way. ☺️

Every time you go out you’re showing up for younger you and for those who have felt that way and it’s beautiful imo. A lot of us have felt too “this or that” for certain places and here you are just doing it, those thoughts may come back here and there but you’re living a beautiful life and I love every time you pop up on my following page because you really look so at peace getting to see these historic sites and share them with all of us 🖤

I love how many more people of different ethnicities are starting to get out into the countryside. There was a lack of representation in the media but now there are far more mixed groups coming up to the lakes to enjoy the area.

These spaces belong to all of us! I relate to this as a mixed race person whose (white) family is really into hiking and national parks trust properties and history. So much staring when I was a child ☠️Small me would be sooo gassed to see someone that looked like you or me in these spaces.
