Do people not understand what time and a half is?? It’s your regular time plus half of your base pay… for example if you are making $20 an hour with time and a half you are essentially making 30 an hour, the extra $10 is the premium. The overtime premium has always been the half not the base pay. Nobody lied I’m just noticing people actually never understood how it actually works

not only that but they cap you at $12500 single person. give you and example i made over 50k of OT so the "premium" is what doesnt get tax so its about 15k out of those 50k but im only allowed to claim $12,500 of those 15k that does qualify. hope this makes sense to most because if it doesn't and you work a lot of OT, youre in for a rude awakening.
