I have seen UPS write a "sorry we missed you" slip without even leaving the apt lobby to go attempt to deliver the package. UPS is the WORST for that

People in general dont lie about this. UPS usually never actually attempt delivery. they bring the "sorry we missed you" slip and place it on the door.

My local UPS delivery guy is my favourite. Always polite and professional. I wish UPS was doing all the deliveries. Purolator and Amazon have zero f’s to give. I should just put a hoop on my porch because they are practicing their game from my driveway.

I didn't lie cuz I was home all day and he didn't even go upstairs. he just left the f****** paper in the lobby. so if he did show up at my front door wouldn't he stick the f****** paper at my door?

Sorry, bud. I’m sure you attempt to deliver all your packages but not all delivery drivers are as good as you. No exaggeration, at my old apartment I would literally sit in the lobby and wait for them to come and they’d come to the door with a sticker saying “sorry we missed you” without making any actual attempt to deliver. Many times I’ve walked with them back to their van to get the package, sometimes they didn’t even bring it and it’s somewhere else entirely.

it happens to me all the time. im home, in the next room over from the front door and they never ring the door bell or knocked, or they just put the notice in the community mailbox around the corner or never came. we are being truthful when we say they're not trying to deliver.
