It's great that you're adapting to the country you live in now. That's the way to go. Ce que tu dis est bien. C'est formidable que tu t'adaptes au pays où tu vis maintenant. C'est la bonne approche. I understand why Heureux is hard you don’t really have that sound. The « r » is something too… préparer (praypahray), bonjour ( Bojoor)/ salut ( sahlue)- ouvrir ( oovreer) -dormir (dohrmeer). But that is really good already.

All sound fine. if the French R is hard to pronounce, just pronounce your regular R for now and you will master it down the road. Heureux is pronounced close OhRoo... they way you pronounced it close to horror :)

Don't worry about that. Just pronounce the "r" as you do in your language. 1. The flemish speaking do it also and 2. They understand you 3. They like the accents 4. We will never be able to like they do Trust me, I'm Dutch speaking and my best friend speaks French. So we know 😉
