Purple is opposite of yellow on the color scale that’s why it works. It’s just counteracting the yellow and canceling it out.

For some people, yellowing is hard to get rid of even tho they’re brushing like theyre supposed to. So idk if its genuinely an issue for this to just be a dye to counteract the colors

Not saying they don’t work because I’ve never tried them, but I have tried other whitening strips and that’s what makes your teeth so sensitive, is using whitening strips.
