Sigh. When equity seems like a threat to their voices, I just get really tired.

Centering women’s voices in spirituality isn’t about exclusion. It’s about correcting a historical default. Balance isn’t achieved by pretending the scales were ever even. For many of us, embodied, symbolic, and ritual practices aren’t alternatives to spirituality; they’re the missing half. Thank you for your wisdom and your voice! I love learning from you.

As someone who is deep in my own path of nihilistic atheism, it really helps to know there's someone who has been in the same headspace and worked through the intrusive thoughts and still found meaning from it all. You put my thoughts into words and give me hope to come back from the darkest places in my mind. Thanks for what you do. It helps more than you know.

So you find balance at the opposite side of whatever 🤔 why not aim for the center? In the end, when all the fights between the sexes are over, we must move forward together.

Totally agree, its same with art history, women have been written out again and again…. It’s like we haven’t experienced paintings truly how the women would have made it without the lance of patriarchy…

I’m very interested in studying pre-Christian religion (ie the worship of Artemis at Ephesus) as translated by women. Does such a resource even exist?

Love it and saving for later for arguments against religion. Been agnostic/atheist since I was in about 18 so I have been gone a while, but need good debate points for when my kiddo asks why it

One thing I very much appreciated was a play in the church I grew up in. Our pastor was from Berkeley so they were pretty liberal. The pastor and his wife did a play where the woman played god and the husband played the devil. I already was questioning my faith but I loved that and it brought me back briefly to not see sexism in religion
