His symptoms started in childhood, and progressed throughout his teen and adult years, until he reached a breaking point in his 30s — one defined by su!cidal ideation, self-h@rm and a deep mistrust of his own mind. Luckily, in this state of crisis, he stumbled upon information online that made him realize what he was going through had a name: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. From there, he was able to receive a diagnosis and access treatment.⁣ Since then, our organization has worked tirelessly to make sure that no one else has to suffer in the same way. We’re thrilled that our latest research report, OCD in the Digital Age, has found that on average, OCD respondents from our study went from symptom onset to diagnosis in 28 months. And one quarter reported they were diagnosed just one month after symptom onset.
