@morganzuhmakes: I glued a child safety outlet cover onto the back of a lightweight picture frame and now our kitchen backsplash looks that much cuter ✨ #diyhack #DIY

💗Aves💗 :

I would forget I did that and spend years wishing there was an outlet there while I cook dinner

;) :

If those are just the plastic outlet covers then there should be zero risk of a fire

justwatching362 :

Is this a fire risk? I genuinely don’t know

Morgan Schmoyer :

Nowwww wait a damn minute……THIS IS BRILLIANTTTTTTT

Samantha Rainey 🦋🐾💗 :

Plug protectors active the switch so are actually more dangerous

Nev :

My electrician husband would actually freak out

mytrappy.pt2 :

Suddenly everyone’s an electrician with 10+ years of experience 😒

Meghan :

When did outlets become ugly..I’m confused

Elizabeth 🦎 :

Doing this because outlets are ugly ❌ doing this to add dimension to the backsplash ✅

Aurora :

no one can know you have outlets 💀

moon pie 🌙 :

god forbid a house has things it’s supposed to 🙄

all fun until you forget you have an outlet there lol

Emily Bateman :

Worst it’ll do is loosen the outlet a little, it’s gorgeous!

Renee Lynne | SAHM :

✿ Daisy Jasmin ✿ :

itstaraanderson :

I’m genuinely confused by this “trend.” When did outlets, a standard feature in homes, become “ugly”??

Ivy :

thats a fantastic way to wear out your outlets and cause fires in the long run

Hails23 :

So I’m reading the fire comment. But, my question is how is the plastic not a fire issue 🤣 plastic burns all the time
