I like Barnes and Noble for a first date. it's basically a classic coffee date with an endless supply of things to talk about. books cover pretty much every topic and genre, and even if you don't love reading you can talk about favorite adaptions, or people watch together, you can browse all the other miscellaneous stuff they have too as a back up

Yes and no, you could actually learn a lot about persons habits, for example there are people that comment throughout the movie etc. that could be a pet peeve for someone and could become a turn off later
