Heavy on they don’t want to struggle. They give up so fast. If they don’t struggle then they don’t grow! They want everything easy!

Once you reach a certain grade. The process of learning requires reading. So at some point the damage is done.

Guys- I am giving high schoolers very basic assignments where they just have to copy off of a PowerPoint. More than half of my classes cannot do this. They’re 14+ years old. 4 years away from being able to vote…

I chose to retain my first grader this year bc he couldn’t read at grade level. He’s currently in his second year of first grade and reading past first grade level. He’s at an early second grade level. Retaining him has set him up for so much success! Parents need to hold their kids accountable!

The parents are at fault. The schools are at fault. Technology is at fault. Corporate greed is also at fault. Many factors contribute to why these kids can’t read it’s very sad.

Parental involvement plays a significant role in this. They are doing a disservice to these children.

Kids today are taught to memorize not to read and comprehend things. So when they’re reading they don’t comprehend and understand what’s being told to them.

ATP everyone who is not at least reading on grade level needs to be held back. The kids are not going to be ready for the world if they keep getting moved forward without appropriate reading comprehension. The implications for society are insane

From an elementary school teacher, it is only going to get worse for you 😩😅 we stop teaching how to read after 2nd grade and don’t ever have the time to try and go back to it. But everyone passes anyway 😩. The current middle schoolers are coming in hot.. and they have no idea what is happening

Why the American World Order Is Quietly Changing 🌍 America designed much of the post-WWII international system—from Bretton Woods to the United Nations, the IMF, the World Bank, NATO, and the global role of the U.S. dollar. Those institutions still exist. But many countries are making different choices than they did decades ago. This documentary explores how global influence changes over time, why international alliances evolve, and why history suggests that major shifts in world order often happen through economics, diplomacy, and institutions—not only through war.
