@agatemagnet: Carnelian!! This creek is absolutely loaded with big carnelian!! This spot is in WA state! I found this area reading a random bloggers journal online. He journaled about spots he would go to in the 90's. This area definitely has been untouched for many years for there to be this much all over this one creek! He never gave out coordinates or exactly how to find it. Just a general area. So I explored for many months looking for it and it paid off! I know I found the area he talked about because of certain markers around the woods. So much fun! Kinda like a treasure hunt!
