@melaniesandford18: You’ll have to give this a try— please let me know what you think because this is helping my husband’s knee so much. We’ve used the cayenne pepper castor oil before and it has been a go to in this home and I always have a mason jar going—adding the Blackseed amps it up even more for pain reduction and anti inflammatory properties 🙌🏼❤️ castor oil is penetrative and is rich in ricinoleic acid which can calm local inflammatory mediators and encourage lymphatic flow. It’s thick enough to hold heat but also thin enough to carry the active compounds deeper than most oils. Cayenne reduces substance P, which is a neuropeptide that carries pain signals. It can improve blood flow and create warmth, basically helping to retrain the pain signals. Thymoquinone in Blackseed oil can help stabilize, overactive nerve signaling, and dampens inflammatory pathways while helping with tissue repair. This works at a neurolinflammatory level, which is amazing. You’ll need a 4 ounce mason jar. 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper. Pour 4 ounces of castor oil over the cayenne pepper and stir it well until it’s completely blended. You can use it right away, but it will have the grit in it. Add 1 teaspoon of Blackseed oil. I like to infuse mine for a few weeks and then strain it out into a roller ball bottle to make it less messy. I add the teaspoon of Blackseed oil after I strain it. Roll it on in the area where you have pain and then cover the area with a castor oil pack or some medical wrap or gauze. My husband leaves this on overnight, but if you’re putting it on a sensitive area, that’s not the knees or joint area. You may want to only leave it on for about an hour or so and then wipe it off just in case of sensitivity issues. It’s best to do a patch test first. This is not medical advice and I’m not a medical professional. ##naturalremedies
