The coverage is the same but the issue comes priority. When cell towers get congested your less priority on the tower.

Actually they are not 100% the same the way you think. So the big companies like rogers bell and tellus have a primary and secondary or backup service towers. The CRTC and the competition borough mandates the low competitive prices, so in order to obey the mandate they created the secondary companies where they are selling the backup or secondary service towers. This is where the price difference comes from. But here is the catch any time the primary providers needs the service for what ever reason, they automatically dropping the secondary service in the favoare of the primary service customers. So this is the reason why fido some places have no service but Rogers still have at least LTE. This is how the home internet deals works as well with this companies 😉

koodo has terrible customer service. I set up auto payments, but they blocked my auto pay 3 times, and then dinged me with "missing a payment". trying to see my bill up to date is nearly impossible. and actually contacting them for support is such a hassle

fully agree! those smaller companies just lease the infrastructure. I have Primus internet. It's a great value. and the truck that shows up to set you up is a Bell truck. 😂❤️

Not too sure about one claim. I have been in a physio using Koodo with barely 2 bars and someone next to me on Bell is getting 5. Same model of phone.

Yup, same coverage. I use Lucky, owned by Bell. I used to be a Bell customer but switched to Lucky and totally happy. And very happy to not be paying $100+ a month!
