Gnosticism is the idea that God/Jesus is within everyone and self realization or new age ascension or a spiritual awakening is just a typical process in the human experience. Its bad because it defies the salvation of Christ Jesus and the dedication of his. Children to him exclusively as bought and paid by his blood spilled on Calvary for the redeemed children of God. The point of contention is that Christians specifically believe that our salvation is only legitimate if we believe exclusively in the sufficiency of Christ's death and ressurection for sufficiency as payment for our sins, where gnostism says anyone who believes in themselves has activated the Christ consciousness and therefore belief in Christ alone is untenable.

I would say I met God too, I once meditated and focused in on my subconscious mind so much. I recieved a download of what God looks like. Much like a pyramid, and layered with the colors of the rainbow and at the very top is a crown, purple beaming. Right below is an eye that overseas all. Life, death and rebirth. it experiences everything all at once, without separating itself from any entity in this universe it is truly a beautiful being and an extraordinary sight to see. The thing is that you yourself, are this being masked as a human. So small you forget. It is our duty to remember and love our authentic form, even if we don’t quite understand it.
