I had none of these and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It was found in a CT scan for a different problem. I am a nonsmoker.

My mom had a sore muscle feeling behind her shoulder blades. The dr just gave her muscle relaxers and didn’t do X-rays. By the time they did, it was stage 4 😢

My mom died of lung cancer at age 81. Was dismissed by docs for persistent cough. She died 5 weeks after diagnosis. She did have clubbing of fingers years before which I thought was interesting. Never smoked. Had autoimmune disease and was on Cellcept and prednisone for years

My father was diagnosed with stage 4 and died 6 mos later when it spread to his brain. He had the weight loss and fatigue but not one doctor ever suggested a ct scan or any scan. He smoked for over 50 years!

Oddly my doctor blows me off . I lost 30 plus pounds within 45 - 60 days and have a phlegm with cough that’s been a year or longer I am a smoker 2 packs a day also I’ve had cancer before also I have lymph nodes that are enlarged and painful only on one side of the body and I have night sweats and itching that comes and goes … I also have pain and when I am walking up a flight of stairs I have trouble and it feels like I am in quicksand also my blood pressure has been 171/103 also I have it extremely high on many other occasions but yet my doctor said it’s just cuz of my bad habits of not eating and not sleeping and it’s just anxiety and/or depression. The fatigue is so bad I can’t fight anymore it’s just exhausting to deal with every day things I’m exhausted from just driving or even thinking cause me to need to take a time out to rest . But it’s all in my head ….

Everything I felt… I have a family history of lung cancer too.. but I now show every sign of it but only just getting another xray.. I was told I might have a mini blood clot on my lung last year too…

My husbands Aunts 1 yr death date is Saturday. She had Lung cancer and it was basically dismissed as COPD. They saw nodules in the lungs and didnt even biopsy or anything. She ended up with leg pain and turns out the lung cancer mastastized and went into her thigh bone then her intestins she spine her brain her liver literally everywhere. she was given 6m but she lived like 4 years and was on so many meds her quality of life was 0. She stayed in pain and in and out of the hospitals the entire time. It was very sad. she was 51.

I was picked up with 1b squamous cell on an annual cancer screening for smokers. Partial lobectomy. No further problems. From that.
