@jaycyj.pov: So I checked out Touk. They’re a brand new restaurant that specializes in Cambodian food and are located in Downtown Vancouver. I was there to try out their Dine Out Vancouver menu and since there were 4 of us in a party, we were able to try every offering on the menu. The menu was served family style and was at 65.00 per person. We were served the following: SNACKS Chef’s Choice APPETIZERS Pain au Lait Fresh coconut milk buns with cultured butter, espellette, scallion oil & Chicken Wings Golden wings with lime & pepper sauce & Cucumber Salad Roasted cashews, pickled citrus & lemongrass vinaigrette, herb salad ENTREES Borbor Shredded chicken with crispy garlic & Kampot pepper foam & Prawn Nantua Grilled & tossed in sweet red curry nantua, burnt lemon & black olive oil MAINS Fraser Valley Tomahawk 12oz Frenched pork chop with Cambodian Mole, browned butter & watercress salad, side of rice & Lobster Misou Half Lobster stir-fried with ginger & curry leaves on a bed of glass noodles This was an incredible experience with the service being amazing and the food really being on another level. Lead by Chanthy Yen (Michelin recommended and Top Chef winner 2024), Touk has become one of my new favorite restaurants in Vancouver and I will absolutely be back to dine again.
