Imagine being the only Hawks fan from Gatineau, Qc, Canada in 1979. 2,579 miles away from Seattle. All because of a logo. Fell in love with the game after my dad brought me to my first CFL football game. My mom then bought me school books with NFL helmets one of them. I didn't know anything about rhe NFL but my passion needed a team to root for. The Seahawks helmet stood out for me. Been following them ever since. Bought my first jersey (Curt Warner) in 84. The power of branding. Go Hawks!

When I moved to gig harbor in 1993, there was a Safeway, Dairy Queen, tides tavern, one narrows bridge.lots of trees. 2026 .. Costco Home Depot, 2 bridges. Less trees.😩
