Nooo because the montage at the end after the bubble was popped was insaaane. So unsettling and beautiful and absolutely disturbing. Idk what emotions that was supposed to invoke but it worked.

i agree 100%; it’s not about the CONTENT of the ending, it’s the delivery! it felt like it devolved into a really campy dr. who-style sci-fi that clashed so much with the tone of the rest of the movie

Did you catch at the ending (spoiler alert) that they were actually trying to help the humans where as Plemons character believed they were evil? That’s the important thing to focus on when looking at the ending
