It’s so easy to beat yourself up when you find yourself starting over halfway through your life. Trust me, I know. But starting over is exactly that…a reset. A chance to pave a whole new road. Now you have the wisdom to leave behind what isn’t working and the clarity to build what actually will. Create a vision for who you want to become, and do one small thing every day that brings you closer to her. It’s not too late. You’re not too old. I got divorced right at 40 and truly believed I was done… like my life was over. That mindset only kept me stuck. But once I started crawling my way out and chasing my future self, I realized something: I’m not behind. I’m right on time. I’m better than I’ve ever been. Forty is not old. It’s the beginning of something beautiful. It’s going to be ok. Starting over is absolutely terrifying, especially as a woman in midlife. It can feel lonely. It can feel hopeless. But the most important thing you can do is give yourself grace, forgiveness, and time. Don’t rush the rebuilding. Brick by brick, you will rise again… and you will become even stronger than you were before. Trust the process. Trust yourself.
