Adult here.. found this from the hashtag.. I have had adhd all of my life. (46 years!) Everything you do is COMPLETLY normal for an ADHD kid. We second guess and re-do everything! And we all have our quirks. Friends and family still point out I don't put milk on my cereal.. (It makes it soggy! Well, soorrryyy! Haha!) You never really outgro it, but you learn to manage it as you get older. Social situations can still be awkward, but it's not just you.. Don't obssses over what you said or could have said. No one noticed I bet. And no you won't trip! But watch your step around construction zones! hehe.. I am now a well adjusted adult who plays works in a hardware store, but my real passion is playing drums in a rock band. There are so many people just like you, lots of people to talk to, and you'll be just fine. Don't worry about what people think. It anyone hates on your uniqueness they aren't worth your time anyways. I think that wonderful boyfriend of yours undstands you just fine.
