Cops are only allowed to shoot dogs if they are attacked, the dog is clearly a threat, or the dog is attacking someone else. That dog was running over to say hello with a wagging tail the officer had no reason to shoot

Cop has no right to resist letting them take the dog to the vet after he just unrightfully shot the dog the same shit happened to me, and my dog sat in the house for over an hour bleeding out because the cops refused to let us go take him to the vet or even go inside and even check on him this isn’t humane whatsoever.

I would sue the hell out of them. You can obviously tell that he wanted to play not hurt him. I don’t know why his initial response was to automatically shoot him there are a few things they could have done first if something went wrong.
