while yes I can see your point but that's not the reason really, AOD have been around since before the release of ZZZ and we only knew some info about them and had 2 official arts at best, that's what made people very curious about them and the delay in releasing them into the game, besides their theme is cute and appealing to many young players, it's not only predators who are cheering on them
