Days later, Hunter says a doctor called her with what sounded like good news — claiming her baby’s condition had improved and that she was alive. The call reportedly ended abruptly after someone pointed out that Hunter had already been told her child had died. Another physician later contacted Hunter, apologizing and saying the call was a mistake and that the test results belonged to a different baby, the lawsuit claims.
