this is why if a traffic controller stops you, instead of abusing them, remember anything can happen and their job is litterally your safety

Tower cranes can’t wink down that fast , wasn’t the operators fault.

Everyone blame the people, It’s clear something has gone wrong with the crane hoist . Either broke or the brakes on the hoist broke, It’s falling way to fast to be getting hoist down ,

everyone needs to back off the traffic controller, its not her fault the cable snapped. the job is on the corner of two main roads with no pedestrian access. it is the only external place for trucks and cranes to drop so it has clearly been approved by council for them to do so. accidents happen thank God no one got hurt.

where's the exclusion zone? traffic control? live lanes right next to a crane lift? crane lift at peak hour in a busy area. footpath doesn't look blocked. a kid died at bluescope late last year in port kembla only 90 mins away from here. why aren't crane lifts taken more seriously?

The crane should be inspected and certified a minimum of once every three months. The operator should have been doing his/her prestart checks every morning, the operator should have picked up on this. If it wasn’t certified within three months, both management and operator are at fault.
