My dad had a “When I Die” binder, and then my parents’ home and contents were destroyed in a natural gas explosion. Everything needs to be electronically scanned and stored online.

This is so important. We put off updating our will until a dear friend died fast and unexpectedly. His wife didn’t know how anything worke, where anything was, didn’t know any of his passwords. It was horrible for her. 1 1/2 years later it’s better but she still can’t get into his phone or computer even with his death certificate. Shocking how Verizon wasn’t helpful. Huge lesson for all of her friends. We’ve gotten our affairs in order because of this loss.
