I refuse to buy another hyundai because I had a 2018 hyundai sonata (white) and it stared doing this! I was unable to do anything about it. I tell everyone I know not to buy one, especially a white one!

kias and Hyundais is terrible for that and the manufacturers want do nothing about it most kias and Hyundais are made in the same plaints and it is definitely defective dont go through a car wash

I'm surprised your engine lasted long enough for the paint to peel. Hyundai thinks it's perfectly normal for their engine to use a quart of oil every 1000 miles. I'll never buy another Hyundai just because of their engines.

Trip Talk :
Buy Mazda or Toyota. Subaru even. All superior to Hyundai. If you have to deal with corporate, they are all better corporations when interacting with customers, too.
