@rebeccas_english_hub: If you’d like to study with me, click the link in my bio for my British Pronunciation Course! 🇬🇧 This lesson is on the difference between clean and clean up. To clean up is separable, so you can clean the kitchen up or you can clean up the kitchen. #english #learnenglish #englishgrammar #grammarlesson #englishteacher
I had never thought of this. Thank you. I had the idea that when you use “up” it meant to do something fully, like “drink up” or “eat your food up”. So in “clean up”, this idea doesn’t work, correct?
