@sunshinemuffinz: I’m shocked they made one and curious what they used. I work for a X-ray tube manufacturer for ct scanners and our generators are 200kV (100kV anode, -100kV cathode). 25kv 4A gets emission, but not a lot. Plus we spin the targets at like 75-200hz otherwise the electrons will bore a hole through it. They must be doing very, very low power like for use in dental work. What they’re doing would be cool in a safe lab with lead lined booths and walls, but how they’re doing it is dangerous!

x-ray machine are totally safe with a small amount of radiation, if you keep getting expose to radiation it stacks up which is also why doctors leave the room quickly when giving a x-ray scan
