after a very painful, pinchy "lipstick" shape making latch I almost gave up and just exclusively pumped instead until one night, probably around 2.5 montbs old, she was rooting around on my shirt and I just unbuttoned, laid back and she latched painlessly for the first time. after that she did well with latching, i miss it so much 🥺

This was never best for me or my babies. I bf-ed over 6 years between my 3 babies. Only mentioning in case there’s another Mom out there who thinks she’s doing it wrong because this doesn’t work for her and her baby.
