It's the perfect tool to use, but you will be suprised at how much topsoil or lawn dressing you will use. Cut the grass first, then dressing the lawn, then overseed, then cover with landscaping fabric to protect from the birds. Loads of video on YouTube to follow. Buy per ton, rather than small 25kg bags as these bags don't go very far. Good luck 👍

The lawn looks lovely as is. I ripped mine up and put a habitat lawn seed mix down and I’ve got daisies flowering now

I recommend cutting the grass as short as possible first.. pushing that lute through long clumpy grass will be one hell of a job.
