im not understanding why she wouldn't have just gotten her son from the stranger and just go home....if she was already chasing him then the other person that grabbed him would've had to have seen her right? it was a simply "omg thank you for grabbing him. he ran off on me" then you GET YOUR DAMN KID! in what scenario does it make sense to just walk away??
